This has happened before but it fixed itself, this time Im not so lucky. I don't see any difference myself was hoping that I would connect at 130mbps but I don' t think this adapter has that capability. The Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems. Just unzip and run the setup.exe from administrator. This driver installs much easier than previous versions. I am at my wits end as nothing seems to work. I have uninstalled the adapter and reinstalled multiple times. I have downloaded and installed adapter drivers from Microsoft, Qualcomm, and ASUS. Most posts seem to focus on an incompatibility issue between the adapter drivers and Windows 10. ASUS Support driver page lists driver version as V10.0.0.324. Have to restart to get wireless to reconnect. Wireless is dropping out every few minutes. I guess we just got a crap wifi adapter with these GW75vw's, at least I stay connected I always have I never had the issues of low transfer speeds or disconnecting as I have seen other have. The adapter is a Qualcomm Atheros ar9485. Windows 10 64bit(was 8.1) Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 WiFi adaptor. Installation went with out any problems, I'm still connecting at 64Mbps, my wife's HP touch screen Qualcomm Atheros AR9462, connects to the same WIFI at 130Mbps.
